School Council
The role of the School Council
The School Council brings together students, parents, teachers and administrators as a group. Its role is to provide advice on the educational and pedagogical life of the school, both at the elementary and secondary levels. It generally meets four to five times a year.
In short, the Governing Board adopts the school project, the rules of procedure and the school year calendar. It also gives its opinion on proposals for the development of educational structures and innovations, on educational projects, on the program of activities of associations and clubs, on the organization of school life, on school catering, on questions relating to hygiene, health and safety.
